Built into the hillside where the old emery cable line once met the sea, Villa Eos is half architecture, half geology. Three barrel-vaulted suites are cut directly into the rock, kept cool by the island itself and opened east through deep arches.
Mornings begin on the pool terrace, fourteen metres of still water dissolving into the open Aegean with Donousa on the horizon. Evenings end in the olive grove, under three hundred trees and considerably more stars.
